flyin' first class, up in the sky, poppin' champagne...

well at least the champagne part is true! look at what mike did for me this weekend!



he got us a killer deal this weekend at the ritz in charlotte and made everything perfect by this sweet gesture! i think the best part of the room was the tv in the bathroom mirror. i have to have one of these! i seriously need to stop getting the taste of the "good life" though- it's so addicting!
charlotte was a great time actually. i was dreading what i always dread when we go down to visit but everything ended up being great! we had such a great time. the epicentre in charlotte is awsome! i had never seen the area before and i think it might even be new. it was charming and i fell in love... as in i could see myself living there haha!
our whole point of going down was to get our wedding bands. i dropped the ball on mike when we were on our way down that i wanted 2 bands, one for the top and one for the bottom. i didn't think that he would go for it but he did and i am getting 2 bands that match the band of my engagement ring. we picked out a pattern for him that i love also. i can't really describe it except that it has a double cable pattern and it's white gold. much better than the paisley pattern he originally wanted! they should be here in 3-4 weeks. i can't wait!

girls trip

nyc weekend was a blast! it was the epitome of a girls trip.

this is us at the standard hotel bar. it's called the boom boom room and through we had no trouble walking in, apparently its not usually so easy.




3 glasses of wine cost us $80 and i have never seen so much chanel in my life, except at the store of course. the view from here was amazing. i can't wait to go back! i felt like i was in an episode of gossip girl. cheryl also got a meeting set up here: http://580worlddiamondtower.com/ to look at diamonds with an acquaintance. they had to fingerprint us and copy all our id's before letting us leave the lobby. i didn't realize until after we were leaving what this building actually was.
we shopped all day, and partied (like celebs?) all night. we even got into a completely exclusive club under the kenmare resto: http://kenmarenyc.com/

i was shocked that he went and got it for me! it's going to look perfect with my dress.

mike's parents are still acting like a-holes. weddings are so stressful.
